At Pressto we care so much about your garments that we want to give you some advice to keep them in good shape as long as possible:
It is very important to sort garments out by colour to reduce the chance for darker colours to run onto light colours.
We can make fruit and tannin stains (coffee, tea, juices….) permanent by applying water and temperature.
The most delicate garments have to be hand washed or using a program for delicate garments. Remember to add a liquid detergent for this kind of garments.
Wash temperature has to be selected depending on the type of garment, composition and the nature and age of stains. They might often become permanent when using very high temperature.
Over use of detergent or softener can make your garment become yellow or gray.
Try to store your clothes clean, this way you will not find stains from last season which will be impossible to remove.
Also try not to store them in humid places like basements or attics and avoid Keeling them in plastic bags.
To avoid decolouration of garments, do not put them in a place where light hits them directly.
When you take your clothes to dry cleaned it is good that you point out the stains on them, especially sweat, blood and urine.
If you have leather garments, rugs or duvets, best thing to do is to clean them at least once a year and always at the end of the season.
If you have any other question about your garments,
let us know. We are waiting for it!
