Pressto opens its first store in UAE

The Spanish chain, leading the express quality dry cleaning and laundry sector, continues its expansion in the Middle East and opens its very first franchise store in Dubai, one of the seven emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates.

The first shop in Dubai is located in Downtown, Dubai, the main residential and commercial area; it is the home of some of the city’s most important landmarks including Dubai Mall, the World largest shopping mall and Dubai Fountain. It is a very exclusive area, with an international population of over 50.000.

Dubai has been the chosen country to introduce a new concept in dry cleaning, hydrocarbon; it is the first company that uses this method in UAE. The dry cleaning machines which use this solvent are much more environmentally friendly than the old traditional ones.

The entry in Dubai has been done under the Master Franchise agreement, signed by the brothers Tarun and Dinesh Moorjani, two Indian entrepreneurs based in Dubai, under the company name Press2 Perfect Dry Cleaners Middle East.

Production Centre

The expansion plan of Pressto in the country is very ambitious as it is a region with great possibilities and potential due to the economic characteristic of the population.

For this reason and in order to offer the best service, a central production centre has also been opened where 3000 garments will be cleaned and pressed daily.  This plant is located in Dubai Investment Park 1 (DIP) which is strategically located less than 30 minutes from downtown Dubai, right where the future of Dubai is taking shape. This advantageous location enables it to offer an extensive transport network and the most advanced communication system. Besides, it is very close to Jebel Al Port, the largest manmade port and Maktoum international Airport, the World’s largest airport.

This exceptional location will make it possible to delivery garments in a fast and efficient way to all the different Pressto stores which will be gradually opened along the UAE territory.

3 new stores are expected to be opened over the next 3 months.
